This place oozes chill!

Located in the middle of Ulladulla’s ‘cbd’ this place is the brain child of Emily Flowers and is the best coffee in Ulladulla undisputed. I enjoyed doing this over a coffee because the place lends itself to a concentrated moment of sketching. Wanting to do a Payne’s Grey wash for some time  I combined it with the fountain pen with non waterproof French ink … the ink lines wash when wet.

This took 1/2 hour to sketch in pen then another 1/2 hour to wash (tone).

Ulladulla is on the south coast of NSW,Australia about 3 hours south of Sydney

When you see an old farm scene it’s just so relaxing to stop and draw. This was done a little while ago and thus the style. The roof is a bit wonky. Oh well… the roof is a bit wonky! This shed has changed a bit since the winery has grown (as has the restaurant). Griff and Rosie have really done a great job out there and the tucker is great.
